Capital Punishment

Capital Punishment can literally be described as a life or death issue, it is the execution of people who have been found guilty of some crimes, usually murder, that are seen as so destructive to society that the person who committed the crime deserves to pay such a severe punishment.

Th Fifth Amendment of the US Constitution recognizes the death penalty and also states the conditions for accusing individuals of a capital crime,it also states that no individual 'shall be deprived of life … without due process of law.'

  2. Do all states implement the law the same way? Any stats by state? How has the use of the execution changed over time? Ant ideas about how other countries implement this idea?

  3. Good start Jenna. It looks great so far. I don't know what you have planned, but a comparison to how the death penalty is used in other parts in the world could be a good idea.

  4. Great start Jenna. I feel that if you put a video on here of someone getting executed it would be very interesting, but also disturbing. Never mind don't do that. I like the progress.
